Snickers peanut butter liqueur is a sweet and nutty adventure in the world of homemade cream liqueurs. It combines Snickers bars with hints of caramel, nougat and peanut butter to create a chocolate bar themed alcoholic drink that is sweet, creamy and pure indulgence.
Put the cream, milk, condensed milk, peanut butter, honey, caramel syrup and salt into a pan. Heat gently, stirring constantly, until the ingredients melt and the liquid is hot. Do not leat it boil.
75 g Single cream, 2 tablespoons Whole milk, 1 tablespoon Condensed milk, 2½ teaspoons Peanut butter, ½ teaspoon Caramel syrup, ½ teaspoon Honey, ⅛ teaspoon Salt
Chop the Snickers bar into small pieces and add to the pan. Whisk until it has melted and the only lumps remaining are the peanuts from the chocolate bar. (Reheat gently if necessary).
51 g Snickers bar
Add the vodka and stir well.
50 ml Vodka
Strain the liquid through a nut bag or fine-meshed sieve to remove the peanuts. Decant into a sealable bottle.
Set aside to cool completely, then putb the lid on the bottle and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Shake well before serving as some settling will occur as the bottle sits in the fridge.

Notes
Use clean equipment: The liqueur will split if it comes into contact with anything acidic such as citrus juice or vinegar. Even just a trace left on a pan, spoon, whisk or bottle can turn it, so make sure that all of your equipment is scrupulously clean.
Be patient: The nougat will take time to fully melt. Keep stirring it until you are certain it has melted.
Strain your liqueur: You must strain this Snickers liqueur once it has been made to remove chunks of peanut. Ideally use a nut bag but if you do not have one a fine-meshed sieve works well.
Shake well before serving: As the drink sits in the fridge some of the chocolate will settle at the bottom of the bottle. Give it a vigorous shake for around 30 seconds before pouring. If you store it in a clear bottle you will be able to tell when it has been sufficiently shaken.
Garnishes
As for ways to garnish your sweet & creamy peanut butter liqueur, here are my top suggestions:
Slices of Snickers bar: Cut ½cm slices and thread them onto a cocktail pick.
Miniature Snickers bar: Thread a miniature bar (from a pack of Celebrations chocolates) onto a cocktail pick.
Whipped cream: Swirl whipped cream on top of your drink and scatter with flaked chocolate.
