This sparkling pomegranate mocktail uses homemade grenadine to create a non-alcoholic drink ideal for a party. Loaded with fresh fruit and mint leaves it's a very pretty drink to serve. Add a splash of vodka or gin for a boozy hit.

Notes
Stir if necessary:
Depending on the thickness of your pomegranate syrup you may need to stir your mocktail well - do it gently to retain the fizz.
Use clear glasses to show off the colour:
High ball glasses or Copa glasses are ideal.
Variations:
Pomegranate & Ginger Mocktail:
Swap the lemonade for ginger ale to add a warming twist to your pomegranate mocktail.
Shirley Temple:
Use ginger ale in place of the lemonade and garnish your mocktail with a maraschino cocktail cherry.
Less sugar:
Use
low sugar/ sugar free pomengranate syrup
and replace the lemonade with soda water.
Add alcohol:
A measure of gin, vodka or tequila works well in this drink.
