As the leaves fall and crisp, frosty mornings re-emerge, I welcome the shift in the season and the ability to dip into my collection of Cosy and Comforting Autumn Recipes.

I like to kick September off in style with a robust apple loaf cake along with hugs-in-mugs such as Biscoff latte or malted drinking chocolate. As the season progresses I reach for comforting desserts like steamed jam pudding, bold pumpkin spice cocktails and, to celebrate Bonfire Night,some treacle toffee.
